Welcome Home goes out to Capt James L Beck ( Jim ) Former Company Commander of Echo 2/3 1969. Also former Platoon leader in A Co, 2/3 68-69. Capt Beck was with the 199th 1968 - 69. "Again Welcome Home" Stay healthy and stay in touch...Had a long chat with Jim on the land line today and it was great to hear form him. We hope to see him in 2011 at the Echo 2/3 Reunion If not before. Again Welcome Capt Beck....

It is with sadness in my heart that I post this message, Former Lt. Ausie Clements Jr Echo Co 2/3 199th LIB Mortar platoon leader Jan - Feb 1970 died at 12:40 PM 09/30/10. May God bless and his soul rest in peace. Please keep Lt. Clements family in your thoughts and prayers.

Trying to contact anyone from 199th that billetted at Camp Davies RVN during TET. I was CO of HHC 506th FD, am now 68 and drawing VA for prostate cancer. Don't remember any names,but had the pleasure of meeting your CG(think his name was BG Fredrickson. Please e-mail me if you remember.

It is with sadness in my heart that I post this message. In the process of locating a former member "Robert Haywood" of Echo Co 2/3 199th LIB “Company Clerk” 1970. I made contact with his wife Debbie Haywood, She told me that her husband Robert passed away due to a heart attack April 11, 2010. Roberts name will be added to the Echo Company website memorial page of those that have deceased sense returning home.
