In a message dated 12/18/2008 8:11:35 PM Eastern Standard Time, MLann1037 writes: As many of you are aware, I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma stage 4 in June 2006 and given six to eighteen months to live. I fought the cancer with a raw vegan no fruit diet and had a great two years plus. For the past several months I thought I was fighting pneumonia but a visit to the emergency room yesterday revealed that my various cancers have "exploded" in numbers and size. The doctor says two months. We continue to look for treatments, but are about at the end of the road. I would have liked to have written each of you individually, but do not have the energy to do so. I have had a wonderful life, and you all have contributed significantly. Thank you. I have no apologies or regrets. I doubt it there will any more status reports from me. Michael Lee Lanning
